His freelance career started relatively late, as he has spent the first twenty years of his career working in jobs that felt necessary, but not fulfilling. By coincidence, which became a blessing and changed his life completely, he was invited to help a friend in editing the written word. This event sparked his belief that following one’s dreams should be attempted and drove him to start his own business, which has been flourishing since. In our conversation, we will explore the many challenges and opportunities that Dion encountered during his journey, we’ll discuss different sources of motivation that drive people’s behaviour, and consider how reaching out to one’s peer group can set a firm foundation for one’s business.
