Service Description

I offer video editing for web or broadcast as well as motion graphics design/animation services.

My rate is £90/hr, though I am happy to offer daily, weekly, and package rates as needed.

My projects can range from £180 for a short subtitling and video trim job, to £2,500 for a 2-minute video involving a large amount of footage to far beyond that for large multi-item custom projects. Due to the range possible, let's talk about what you need and what you have on hand and then agree on a price and scope that works for you.

FAQ

What is your typical project scope?

My typical project scope includes three rounds of revision, color correction and grade, basic audio edit and mix, color correction and grade, licensing music (license to be paid for by client), and delivery in one low and one high compression format (think ProRes and H.264).

Will you send me your project files when the project is complete?

Packaging of edit project files is possible, with cost is based on size of project. If this option is requested upfront, costs can be minimized. Project files will be delivered after I have received payment in full for the project deliverables (video files and any other options you request). I work in Final Cut, Premiere, Motion, and/or After Effects, if you wish to request that I work in a particular program for your access to files in the future, you must request this upfront. If you do not, the cost of switching will be significant.

How long does a project usually take?

This entirely depends on the nature of the project. A short animated video could take 2 weeks, a custom subtitling job could be done within a day, a web conference could take months. I will lay out a timeline for us to adhere to before we agree to continue.
